My Grandmother's player piano came to live with our family in 1959.

A beautiful, well cared for Mason & Risch from the 20's. Unfortunately the player mechanism, which was all there, needed to be restored, a task that my father taught himself to do successfully.

Because we had several old players in storage that were beyond repair, I was able to tinker with them, and eventually taught myself, with books and help from professionals in the industry, how to tune. 

 

I've been fortunate to have had great advice and mentors  over the years, and for the past 30+ years, have been keeping

South Georgian Bay in tune as the Pianoguy.
